Industrial Training Institute (ILP) which was established under the Manpower Department seeks to provide formal technical training to employees of the industrial sector and school leavers to enable them to gain expertise in certain areas. Consistent with this, the Industrial Training Institute (ILP) Mersing offer 6 courses covering areas of electrical, mechanical and IT. The institute was completed in December 2004 with the conveniences of modern technology and equipment and current. This workshop can accommodate 600 students at any one time. In addition, this workshop also conduct courses part-time modular and shaped to meet the needs Customized Training industri.  Industrial Training Institute (ILP) Mersing was perfected his opening by YM Tunku Mahkota Johor on 31 March 2009.
